This is a social initiative by the Community Development Authority (CDA), in collaboration with the New Economy Academy, aimed at promoting financial awareness and literacy among Emirati families in Dubai. The program seeks to enhance their quality of life and support them in building a shared financial future.
This program aligns with the initiatives of the “Year of Family,” declared by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, along with “Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Program,” launched by Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, These initiatives aim to reinforce authentic Emirati values and strengthen family stability as a cornerstone for social cohesion and development.
The program is delivered in collaboration with the General Pension and Social Security Authority and Etihad Credit Bureau.

The program aims to raise participants’ awareness of the fundamentals of financial planning and smart money management, to enhance their financial stability and achieve a sustainable family life.
The program is intended for all UAE nationals participating in the Dubai Weddings Initiative, with a focus on empowering them to understand financial planning and investment.
Basics of financial planning and setting priorities Budgeting and expense management Understanding debt mechanisms and how to manage them Fundamentals of saving, investing, and future planning Developing a personal financial plan
The program runs for two to three days and includes nine hours of intensive training covering the core topics.
The sessions will be held at the New Economy Academy, located in Emirates Towers, Dubai. And Some Sessions will be held at Al Khawaneej Majilis.
Beneficiaries of the Dubai Weddings Initiative will be contacted directly to coordinate registration.
Yes, participants will receive an accredited certificate from the New Economy Academy upon successful completion of the program.
The program is offered free of charge to beneficiaries of the Dubai Weddings Initiative.
The program provides practical tools and skills that help families and individuals achieve financial sustainability, reduce financial burdens, and reach their long-term goals. Each participant will also receive a personalized financial plan.
